Our History

Julian House evolved from small beginnings – a group of concerned local people in Bath, who came together in 1987 in response to the tragic death of a man in a shop doorway and began providing food and shelter to people living on the city streets.

Today, Julian House has developed into a diverse organisation with over 150 employees and 100 volunteers, providing a range of quality accommodation and support services which respond to the underlying complex causes of social exclusion, empowering over 1,700 people a year,
across 11 local authority areas, to build sustainable, independent lives.

Training Opportunities

From Menopause awareness to trauma informed interventions, we have a great training offering in place. We continue working closely with our colleagues to keep adding new training opportunities to our calendar.
